As of Dec 1, 2017, I have decided to journal a list of frequently asked questions. This page is newly constructed and will be updated periodically. As of yet it is still under construction. If you do not find an answer to your question here, contact me at 256-539-1084 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
My computer is newer and faster, do I still need to defrag my hard drive?
Yes, unless it is an SSD. Any files written to a typical hard drive is split up and placed randomly on the disk. Defrag makes sure they are together so the hard drive doesn't have to work so hard to accomplish the simplest of tasks.
